Watch out!

So, its my spring break. I figure I have ZERO excuses to not post on my blog. Because guess what!?!!??!?!

I haven't puked for a whole week!! And I feel great, besides tired and want to take a nap at every minute, and sometimes I just have to sit down, even at the grocery store.

But, I did it. I finally feel like I have a little bump, so we took some pictures.
I know everyone takes pictures once a week, but I seriously didn't feel like I had anything until week 17. So here ya go.
Here is week 17. Huge I know. I feel huge. But black hides everything right?

Week 18, Brad said, "You know that black is hiding your stomach." Then he said,"lift up your shirt Brit" Which is of course a daily sentence for him. He has this dream that I will just ...never mind, not blog material.

So there you go, and you may think, wow she looks great for being 18 weeks pregnant, but you havent seen the front view, wide. WIDE. I am just going wide. It's bad. I'm trying not to become a total hefty cow, by working out regularly, but I still have gained 12 pounds, and I guess that's normal (doc said today) but, gosh I feel like its ALL in my chest. I can't control them. I need a good strong hefty bra, and if you know where to get one (VS is just out of the question, I've already maxed out my VS bra, not strong enough) let me know!
Do you see that line on my stomach??? That is where my skirt would zip up, so I lost about 8 inches of length, and it barely hit my knee at that point, but I at least got it on! With a line of bruise to show for it!

Well I felt like I wasn't myself for 15 weeks, now I feel golden, besides the sleepiness and pass out all the time feeling. So we have just been busy bees since I started feeling better. We go to the park almost everyday and throw the baseball to each other.
This is actually Brad and Tiera, Landon and T have been coming with us a lot lately.
We also started a new thing of sand vball.
Way too fun.
Landon spazed and hit the ball in the tree, we worked up some cheerleading stance to have T get it out of the tree with a baseball bat.
Brad is in heaven pitching to everyone.

I made PF Changs lettuce wraps for Easter. I was a little stressed because Brad wouldn't hurry and go home from baseball so I could finish making them, but it all worked out okay and I ate 7.

We had a little easter basket search, I got to hide the baskets, and I got Brad this book which he had been wanting. You can see the wideness :)

We had no idea that branch was in that position until after the picture because it was PITCH dark outside.

Yay!!! Hunt for your basket!

Brad kept begging me for clues, I hit his completely inside a huge bush.

He found it!!!

Yay!!!! Chels and Alex found it!

We also hit up the Thanksgiving point Dino Museum easter weekend.
I try really hard to not look pregnant, but it still happens.

This dino was the supersaurous. They couldn't think of another name for this dino that doesn't even fit in my pic.

How does his swallowing work for him?

Update on life:
I had two doc appointments today, derm to get rid of my ever expanding blood vessels on my face, he burned them away. It was a needle with heat and it felt like a shock.
Then the OBGYN where they took some tests, we checked for the baby's little heart and everything was great. He couldn't find it at first, and I panicked....thinking,  Oh goodness that vball dive I did, totally smashed the babe, then he found it and I laughed OUT LOUD! He said, "Are you happy about that?"
I said, "Yes I was scared!!" He laughed.

Then we scheduled my ultra sound for April 20th, in which we won't find out what we are having, but will give the sex to a girl (that sounds way bad) let me start over.
We will text her the gender, and she will make a cake with the color of the frosting in the middle pink or blue of what I am having. Then at Brad's grad party we will cut the cake!!

Brad graduates! YAY!
We are still waiting to finalize our decision but we pray the right thing will happen.
And tomorrow, to take a break Brad and I are spending a night in a hotel in SLC, gonna hit up the new city center and the temple. And of course Bruges Waffles and Frites :)

I'm excited for this day tomorrow...Happy spring break. And let me know if you want a grad announcement for Brad ;)

Look at how adorable...

I picked up this in Texas while I was there....how cute is it!!! Oh my gosh I love it, I keep looking down at it and loving it.

Don't worry, I didn't pay my first paycheck for it :) I also went to Last Chance with Hannah in my 3 hour lay over in Phoenix. I'll show you what I got there Later!!!
Is anyone else excited for General Conference? Lounging and listening for 2 days! I love it. SO relaxing and rejuvenating. Too bad Brad has to take an MCAT practice test Saturday during the morning session :)

I did it!!

This week has been so busy.
Brad has finished up finals. I finished up student teaching and spent the week working and cleaning and packing.
Who knew that a two room apartment could hold so much stuff? Seriously.
Then Thursday we moved out. We moved into Brad's mom's garage.

We are sleeping on her floor.
But we did buy a Cal King mattress, box springs, and frame for 100.00 on KSL. Great purchase. Now I don't wake up that much because Brad is bumping me, or hitting me in the face.
It was so much work to move out. Then I had two basketball games. We lost them both! But then I graduated on Friday!! I was so sleep deprived and dead tired. I had to wake up at six, after going to bed at midnight and packing and moving all day and playing two games of bball. Talk about tired. So...
I made it!!!!

I am a college graduate.

Summer actually graduated with me. It was fun to walk with her.

I loved having family and all my friends surrounding me.

As I went to go walk to go sit down, I was like, wow this is it.
I made it!

I am now a teacher.

Can you believe that?

All the people who love and support me were there, and some couldn't make it!
We celebrated with a little lunch afterwords.
At Brad's mom's house! This is Sal throwing Faith, and Tiera (Landon's new fiance).
These are my beloved classmates...or those that we could find!
After the bbq Brad went to work.
And I took a three hour nap.
And then I went to the shower.
The dual shower.

Summer's baby shower, and Tiera's surprise bridal shower.
Tiera had no idea. She had just met President Uchdorf and Monson and Sister Beck at Grant Bangerter's funeral, the man who married Brad and I, below post. And she was overwhelmed. Then she thought she was coming to her future sis in law's baby shower (and she was). So she began to cry when she saw her sister and mom there.
Whoooof I'm running out of breath.
Paisley is my cousin Tess's daughter. She was the star of my pictures.
Summer opened presents...and Faith was all over that. Summer opened some diapers and Faith screamed in ahhh, and everyone was like, "Do you know what those are." Faith said, "Diapers for the baby's bum!" Of course she knew, she was just ultra excited!
The posters were super cute, Tiera's friends made the one for her, and Sally, Tess, Chels and I made the one for Summer.

Her=50

My mom Darla is 50. She is the most wonderful person. You know, I call her for everything. I call her when I'm mad, and you know what she tells me? She tells me to be Christlike in all I do.

I call her because I'm sick. You know what she tells me? She tells me I need to take a bath with Epsom salts and Lavender Oil.

But then I tell her I can't because I don't have a tub.
Happy birthday Mom.

Don't kill me for putting these pictures up.

Hannah my sister, made a post, but she didn't tell how old you are.

Well I will shout it from the rooftops.

My mom is 50, and she stays at home all day.

She reads any book she wants, goes to the spa once a week, has a maid that makes meals, and puts all her kids in daycare, so she can have a break.

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mom is a miracle worker. She never has time for herself, she has 8 kids at home, 6 married kids, 2 with their own kids, 5 granddaughters, one on the way, 4 kids in college, one kid engaged, 4 under the age of eight, none in diapers!!!!!!, 2 in high school, 2 in junior high, 3 in grade school, one at home who is 2. And one who is severely autistic. Most the time when I call her our calls always end with this phrase "Ammon!! Don't!!! Stop it!!!! Sorry I gotta go Ammon is __________fill in the blank."

But he is a whole nother story. But my mom does it. Some how she does it.

I guess when you look at the numbers its pretty remarkable.

The stats don't lie.

16 kids.

8 girls.
8 boys.
(Be reasonable and pretend I am not in this picture.)

So all of her kids...we turned out okay.

(minus Brad in this picture :) Hes the groom and not a spawn of Darla)

So my mom is incredible. And for her birthday I spiced up her style a little bit.
I bought her a cardigan (black) with an off white under blouse that had a ribbed collar wide neck. Gorgeous mom. Looks like you are in your 20s again!

But then again, in your 20s you had 5 kids.

Let's look at those numbers for a sec.

She was just barely 19 when she got married. 9 months later in Jan she had Brooke. Still 19. Then shortly after the following March she had Tosha, 20 with 2 kids. Let's speed this up. Hannah a year and a half later 22, 3 kids. (Thats why I am behind, I should have 3 kids about now). 25, 5 kids. 27, 6 kids. 29, 8/9 kids. 30-35 11 kids. 35-40 13 kids. 40-45 15 kids 45-48 16 kids.

So there is the timeline you need to follow if you were planning on 16 kids. Let me know if you need any other counseling or meds. Cuz my mom is CRAZY LADY. But you know, she did it, and when she had 12 kids, we would always say, hey mom are you gonna have more? And she would reply with, "Not today."

So it was a surprise for all of us.

So Mom, happy birthday.

And I love you more than you will ever ever know.

I can't wait to call you to ask you what I should do when my baby won't stop crying.

Or better yet, to call you when I'm pregnant.

I can't wait for you to have a boy in the family of grandkids, I'm hoping my eggs will provide that boy for you.

Anyway, this post is about my mom. And she is an incredibly woman.

Not to mention a gorgeous one at that.

I just wish I had her waist size when she was 21.
Love you Mama!

If there is anything...

Better than a spring break, tell me.

Please tell me. I slept in until 10:20 A.M. today.

Bliss.

I work most of the day, but yesterday I accomplished so much. I packed like 5 huge boxes, and Brad and I loaded them up and put them in his Mom's garage.

You see we are moving, from our hole in the ground, to a house! An upper level of a house. It feels so marvelous to do it.To pack things that are just clutter, and not necessities you know.

Brad and I went home for Easter, Sally forgot my camera, so I took pictures with hers, but then hers ran out of space.

This week I'm just going to be cleaning, getting ready to graduate and soaking up the sun that is coming out of Provo. Ya right, its snowing.
 I packed Brad's onesie.

Hope he doesn't need it in the two weeks we will be at our apartment.

Cuz it's in a box in the garage.

Happy Birthday To Him

He had a birthday shout hooray. One year older...whatever. He is 22 now. Speaks french and eats cake. And guess what folks? This is in my new apartment. My new apartment that has ants, no microwave, and an absence of a kitchen table. You would be surprised how much you use microwaves and kitchen tables. I suggest trying to take them away from your house, and see how you fare.

We are just a little poor so a table and microwave are on the LAST of our to buy list. But they are on it...dont worry. If the pioneers still survived without a table and a microwave, so can we.

Except using the stove causes things like burns. On my thumb.

We thought Landon was going to get us a table for his birthday, but he didnt.

But we made him a cake.

That absence of frosting was for our friend Brian, whom...doesnt like frosting.
Lisa and Brian are married. Lisa was my friend in high school and Brian is her husband. Now his name is the same as my dad's name, Brian Hansen. Funny huh? This seems to be the only photo I caught of them. Don't even ask me how it looks so great, I just push buttons.
We decided to take some quick engagement shots while we were in the process. What? You dont like this one?

What about this one....do you like this one? You know, signature, hand on chest, show the ring picture. Everybody has one. Everybody thats married. You know you have one.

Do you like this one? It could have been good, I think something is wrong..Maybe my failed attempt to match Brad with my hair thingy on my wrist? Or his face, is something wrong with his face? I thought it went well our mock engagement session. PS, we only have 50 days left. For rizzle. Ro FIzzle.

If you forgot: I am engaged to Brad Clark. I love him. I am marrying him. June 27th 2009, Salt Lake City Temple.

Yes thats right all of you. Marriage. Its great. But not so great. Just get married once. Not fun to plan all the junkity junk. Oh and I highlighted my hairo. Can you tello?
I am a criminal.
A criminal of love.

That is what Brad was thinking right there.
Oh and I have my thumb in a glass of water right now....IT BURNSSSSSSsssssssssssss.
Peace out.
Another P.S. We are getting our engagments taken tomorrow. For serious. I'll show you them soon :)
